King Tut lived when Egypt’s empire was expansive and her wealth unimaginable. His father, Akhenaten, staged a monotheistic revolution. Study Tut’s tomb and its contents, learn about the daily lives of the workers who built the tombs in the Valley of the Kings and about Thutmose the Sculptor who created the famous bust of Queen Nefertiti. Examine Akhenaten’s capital city and palaces. Finally, ponder what happened after the death of Tut, who is buried in the mysterious Tomb 55, and analyze the findings of the “Amarna Cache” just discovered near his tomb.
